More Pro Bono PR
Friday, July 30th, 2010
Sorry I’ve been MIA … just returned from a 12-day vacation in rural Ohio, visiting my parents. (Speaking of which, there’s nothing quite like lounging around, free from traffic jams and smog, and watching your three year old run through the grass in his bare feet!)
Despite the vacay, I worked on a pro bono project for my brother-in-law, a professor of economics and director of the new Info-Metrics Institute at American University. He and two colleagues recently released a study on the U.S. Navy, which found that white sailors were promoted at a higher rate than minority sailors of the same rank, qualifications, and tenure.
The Washington Post covered their study in an A-section story today. Check it out!
